Sound design

To create such world-class sound, Energy utilizes a unique combination of technology and materials. Their aluminum dome tweeter is paired with dual 5.25-inch woofers that utilize Energy's patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround. This technology uses an ellipse-shaped driver surround to reduce distortion, improve efficiency, and increase movement resulting in a greater range of sound. Energy's Convergent Source Module (CSM) isolates the tweeter in separate housing in order to minimize interaction between drivers, reducing noise and allowing for greater power handling, as well as creating a wider dispersion of sound. Combining these two technologies creates a sensitive speaker that can easily fill your room with incredible, accurate audio.
